About Me
Hello. My name is Robin Altenbach. I am the owner and primary caregiver at Spread Your Wings.
I have been working in early childhood for over six years. I am CPR and first aid certified, have completed all state licensing procedures, and the state nutrition guidelines training. I have two children of my
own, ages 12 and 10. I opened Spread Your Wings, to provide quality caring fun service to our greatest future leaders. I will treat your child with respect, caring, understanding, and nurturing that I have provided and continue to provide, my own children.
My Philosophy
I believe that all children deserve love, attention, and nurturing. I believe that a safe environment allows children to explore and grow. At Spread Your Wings, we allow children to have hands-on learning experiences. This fosters age appropriate development. We read to the children everyday. We believe that positive reinforcement is important for children to develop self-esteem. Children need an environment that supports free expression and stimulates learning. I Most importantly, however, believe that children need to have fun! Children learn best from experiencing the world around them.

My Assistants
Miss Jan is a caring mom of four children, ranging in ages from 10 to 22. She has been working the the childcare field for the past three years, is CPR and first aid certified, CORI checked, and takes on going courses to keep up with the licensing guidelines. 
Miss Amanda is a college student, and also my niece. She is attending school for childhood
education. She is CPR and first aid certified, CORI checked, and loves to learn thur the children as well as
teach them.
Parents also are a big part of our day care, we encourage the parents to be involed as much as they can be with our activies. We are here to help in anyway we can. If there are concerns or special needs please speak with one of the teachers or myself and we will be happy to assist or help find proper resources.
